While Interwoven Congregations was initially begun with a focus on Christian (and Presbyterian) congregations, the scope of the initiative quickly expanded to other Christion denominations (such as United Methodist, American Methodist Episcopal, Unitarian Universalists and more). But is has always been the vision that Interwoven Congregations (in year 2 or 3 of operations) would also expand to other faith traditions, such as Judaism, Islam, Baha'i, Native American spiritual traditions, and more. The call for racial healing reaches deeply across all people of faith.
In 2021, we will be launching "Interwoven Quarterly" -- A journal of insight and expression on the road to racial healing. In each issue you will find special interviews that illumine and inspire, profiles of new anti-racism resources, artistic renderings from verse to sketch to video, and an open forum section where we welcome your views on this work of promoting racial healing in this time.
