Our Mission, Vision, and Values
The purpose of Interwoven Congregations, Inc. is to organize and support partnerships between faith communities with different racial compositions in order to foster racial justice and healing in the United States.
Interwoven Congregations envisions
faith communities healing and
providing healing from racism.
All people are cherished children of God.
We are called by God to love one another and seek justice.
Opposing racism sets both the victim and the oppressor free.
The Beloved Community is one in which diversity is prized, not just tolerated.
Communities of faith are called to be agents of racial justice and healing.
