Conversation
Cards

How do you get that conversation going?  How do you begin a dialogue over the topic of race which has always been sensitive -- and is only more so today.

Enter the Interwoven Congregations Conversation Cards!  They are a series of 40 discussion prompts that invite the conversation partners into reflections that are individual and personal, and also then corporate and congregation-based.

How do you use them?  Congregations are using the cards in a variety of ways:

  • As the focal point for an evening of conversation for the congregation at large, or even in partnership with another congregation.

  • As a series of weekly, bi-weekly or monthly discussions sponsored by the congregation.

  • As a special retreat focus by the congregation's leadership, antiracism team, Women's Guild or youth group.

  • As a personal devotional resource that someone uses over 40 days -- on their own, or with a devotional partner. â€‹

â€‹How do I get them?   You have three options!

  • Physical Decks.  You can purchase a deck

for $15 + shipping (tax is included) using the

      checkout to the right.

We will also have decks for sale at in-person

        Interwoven events.

  • Power Point File.  You can download this

Power Point file which has each of the 40

Conversation Cards on a slide.  That's handy if

you're using the cards at a larger event (either

in-person or on Zoom) and want to put some

select discussion prompts up on the screen.

  •  PDF File.  Interwoven Congregations Network

members have the additional option of printing

the cards out themselves from a PDF file.

We'd love to hear from you!

How have you and your congregation use the Conversation Cards?  What were the discussion prompts that generated the most meaningful dialogue?  What were the prompts that challenged people most?  What ideas do you have for prompts that we should include in the next edition of the Conversation Cards?   Thanks for taking a moment to share your feedback with us!
